Water Safety Instructor


If you're  at least 16 years old and a proficient swimmer, you can become an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Learn to teach children and adults to swim, and give water safety presentations to kids and their parents. Its a fun and meaningful job.

Become Certified to teach: 

  • Parent and Child Aquatics
  • Learn to Swim (Levels 1-6)
  • Basic Water Rescue
  • Various Water Safety Presentations

Course Length: approximately 30 hours
